It is important when you book your flights or you come out specifically for the
completion day, to be sure your visit won't be clashed by some national bank holidays or some local spanish fiestas,
a part from these each town or city has its own feast days (or fiestas) to commemorate its
patron Saints.
January 1 - New Year's Day
January 6 - Epifani (Celebration of the Three Wise Men called "Los tres reyes magos")
March 19 - Father's Day (some communities)
May 1 - Labour Day
June 23 - San Juan (fireworks festival). LOCAL FIESTA
August 15 - Feast of the Assumption (national - in Madrid called Virgin de la Paloma
September 11 - National Fiesta of Catalunya
October 12 - Spain's National Day called "Día de la Hispanidad"
November 1 - All Saints Day
December 6 - Constitution Day
December 8 - Feast of the Immaculate Conception called "La Inmaculada"
December 25 - Christmas Day
December 26 - San Esteban
